I'm Naomi. I'm a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, who trained as a therapist at post-graduate level in Melbourne, Australia. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in marketing and branding for start up businesses.

My experience includes working as a psychotherapist for MIND, a university campus counsellor and a crisis line telephone counsellor. I also have extensive training in working with the LGBTQIA+ community. Most recently, I have worked with people navigating life, change and loss throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Currently I work in private practice in Shoreditch and as a freelance psychotherapist for Rainbow MIND.


Therapy with Me

Above all else, I strive to provide a non-judgemental, empathic space where you can unfold and be yourself. 

I provide clients with the tools to be able to face and overcome new and old challenges. This may involve cultivating a sense of self compassion and self acceptance with ones unique identity, creating a sense of inner peace to allow one to thrive in the fast-paced modern world without anxiety, or learning to develop a sense of purpose and joy in life.

My practice is integrative of different modalities of therapy and varies depending on a client's preference and presentation.

Humanistic, person-centred, compassion-focussed therapy lies at the heart of how I work with clients. Where appropriate, I also bring my experience as a mindfulness meditation teacher into the room. I also draw on elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and existentialism.

Themes I work with include interpersonal relationships, sexuality, gender, grief, anxiety and depression.
